Client Awarded Patent for Anti-Backlash Device - May, 2009

The anti-backlash device applies a retarding effect on a spool of a reel mounted on a fishing rod by application of pressure. This prevents backlash, and also prevents knots and tangles from forming in the fishing line. The device is resilient and flexible enough to prevent knots and tangles, while allowing free rotation of the reel.

Client Awarded Patent for Hybrid Boat Hull - January, 2009

Congratulations goes out to one of our clients for being awarded a new patent on a novel Hybrid Boat Hull.  This revolutionary new design includes two elongated curved hulls that define keel fins.  The keel fins provide additional lift and act as inclined hydrofoils at high speed.  In a second version of the invention the hybrid boat hull includes an elongated central hull which serves to dampen the effect of slamming waves.
